Summary
Heron and Seraphim had never been conventional brothers. They had both tried to kill each other more times that they would like to admit. One was a demon, the other a demigod. So different yet so similar in their mother's eyes.
Both had learned to fear touch. Seraphim feared a sword would follow, Heron feared a stone. Both had been through the hatred of the world when they were just children who didn't understand.
But Heron had grown with a mother who cared, a mother to hug him when he cried, to wipe his tears, to hold his hand when he was scared. And then he found Alexia. Her touch was gentle, firm but safe. Seraphim lacked that ability to still feel any safety with touch. He had flinched the first time he had felt Heron's hand on him, whether it was to grasp his wrist or to pat his shoulder.Series
