   Summary

   Regulus takes steps away from James, not daring to look him in the eye, he heads towards the door with James reaching out to grab him. As he takes the handle of the door, he stops, but doesn't dare turn around, because he knows he would give in to those beautiful brown eyes that belong to his lover.

   “Goodbye, Potter” His tone is harsh, but lined with pain and sadness.

   He doesn't look back as he walks out of the astronomy tower, leaving James and his heart behind.

   Or: Regulus is forced to take the Dark Mark and breaks up with James to protect him, But James isn't done with Regulus just yet.
