After years of being sworn enemies, it appears neither Bowser nor Mario have any intention of surrendering. They seem destined to be locked in battle forever, with Princess Peach stuck in the middle. That is, until one fateful day, Bowser (much to his own surprise) actually succeeds in destroying Mario!
The Koopa King is initially elated to have the Mushroom Kingdom under his iron fist and his beloved Princess Peach in his clutches, but as time passes, he begins to feel an emptiness he didn't expect.
Maybe, just maybe, Bowser doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore.
