“I know you’re there. Might as well come out.” Izuku spoke softly as he let out a small sigh, he could hear the person chuckle behind him. “Dabi.”
“Ah. It seems I’ve been caught. Good evening, Izuku. You're far from that little school of yours right now, do you know that?"
Izuku flinched a bit as he felt the villain's chest pressing up behind him. “Personal space. Please.” He scolds, turning around to face Dabi, who had a playful smirk on his face.
"Aw. But you used to love cuddling up to me, little hero.”
In which, Izuku and Touya met as kids but lost contact with each other after the older boy disappeared, only to be reunited again as mortal enemies that still have some sort of lingering attachment to one another. How will the two come into terms with the nature of their unlikely friendship? Should Izuku really trust his childhood friend, turned villain? And how will Katsuki and Shouto react when they find out?

It was humiliating, condescending; like he was merely a blank soundboard for the other boy to air his grievances to. Touya wanted nothing more than to scream into the boy's face to prove him wrong.
Of course, they both knew he couldn’t.
When nothing happened, the other boy chuckled to himself, hollow and utterly humorless. “Of course you won’t tell.” He tipped his head, a smile making its way across his face. It was an ugly thing, like his muscles knew what to do yet had been trained all wrong, leaving nothing but an inhuman imitation. “You’re a good listener, Todoroki.”
Shut up, Touya wanted to spit back. Shut up, you’re insane.
At the age of 13, Todoroki Touya lost control of his flames, nearly burning himself to death.
Comatose and presumed dead, he finds himself in the care of a very different doctor.

Dabi clicks his tongue, dropping the pills on the ground. “I’m not taking those,” he says smoothly.
“Touya,” Enji huffs, collecting the pills and holding them out to his son. “Don’t make a scene and take the medication. They’re supposed to help you.”
“Maybe I don’t want to be helped. Did you ever think of that?” Dabi questions.
Dabi knows that Enji is not the man he presents himself to be. He can lie to himself all he wants, but Dabi will always know the truth. Enji is a selfish monster who takes what he wants and plays victim afterward, wanting pity and sympathy while making promises he will never keep. He’s a beast, sinking his teeth into Dabi and never letting go.
After Dabi's failed murder-suicide attempt, The Todoroki family welcomes the oldest son back home after he is placed under house arrest. Shoto wants to talk to his brother about the past, but Enji won't let the boys have a private moment together, saying Dabi still needs to recover. Just what secret could they be harboring? What is Enji hiding from Dabi?
