Summary
Rook and Lucanis are barreling towards each other like a ship circling a maelstrom. Rook thinks she’s communicating and open with her feelings, but a life of service to the Wardens hasn’t given her a lot of practice. As for the Demon of Vyrantium, the demands of the Crows and his grandmother have left him blind to his own needs. Can Rook and Lucanis’ budding romance survive two blighted gods, Spite’s meddling, and their own ineptitude? Or is it all doomed to fall apart?
This is my attempt to fill in some of the gaps in a Lucanis romance with a Grey Warden Rook (and also make it spicier). I love DAV, but I wanted a bit more angst, drama, and overall messiness. I mostly follow the plot of DAV, but I definitely made some changes.

Two idiots in love. A kind of au retelling of Lucanis's romance. Very much does not follow canon strictly and events are jumbled.
As of 9/5/2025 this fic is no longer canon to Nene's storyline or anything, but I wanted to leave it up.
