During a supposedly easy research mission, Princess Zelda's party is attacked by a swarm of monsters. Her overly loyal and overly reckless chosen knight stays behind to ward them off, and ends up getting badly injured. Zelda knows she will never forgive Hylia if she allows him to be taken away from her.
