What if Breakdown didn't return to the Nemesis after being rescued from M.E.C.H.
What if Starscream really did want to join the Autobots.
What if Knock Out joined the team earlier.
What if Soundwave, when he was captured, stayed for good?Or: the Autobots and their humans adopt some Cons in much need of some love and affection, plus a sub-plot of M.E.C.H's nefarious shenanigans.

Summary
The Planet of Fjords exists in a chilly, forgotten corner of the universe. Unpoetically named, it is comprised of mountainous landscapes and vast seas of frigid water, homeworld to a people as tough and craggy as the planet itself.
And it is ruled by dragons.
Migrations of the scaled beasts dictate where most clans choose to settle, and crop farming over keeping livestock is the only way to remain unbothered. But the Primes are not a clan comprised of defeatists. They are warriors, and for generations have remained rooted to their weathered village by the sea stacks of Iacon, fighting back the dragons tooth and nail. Protecting their herds, battling for supremacy of the waters surrounding their land - this is and always has been their way of life.
But soon, thanks to the Prime leader's soft-hearted son, the eras of territorial war and bloodshed might finally meet their end.

Summary
Some Cybertronians think Outliers are better than the average mech. Others think they're freaks to be avoided. For young Outliers, being revered or shunned for their unique abilities almost always has the same results: they withdraw from society, doomed to a life of eccentric loneliness. Or they lose themselves to fame and objectification, not knowing how to see themselves for who they are beyond their image in the optics of their admirers.
In truth most of them just want to live normal lives, and find their true purpose in doing so.
. . .Or: I have yet to find a fic that revolves around Prowl and Soundwave being buds so I'm writing it myself, as you do.
