Summary
Snotlout was proud of himself. Why shouldn’t he be? He was strong; strong enough to know he was the best up-and-coming viking, like, ever. It was so obvious.
This was knowledge he carried around like a comforting stone in his pocket; his good luck charm, his omen. No matter what happened today, he was still the best. Right? No wimp-faced, snarky, annoying cousin could possibly ruin that for him. That couldn’t--shouldn’t--happen. But…
Just how did said cousin keep taking down all the dragons before Snotlout really got a chance? What in the hells had Hiccup been hiding?
…How did Snotlout end up waist-deep in trouble right along with him?
TLDR;
Replace Astrid with Snotlout’s role in the movie, and see how that changes the trajectory of...pretty much every relationship dynamic. (At least at first.) Starts at the beginning of the 1st film, except Snotlout’s dad is just that bit more judgemental/negligant, pushing Snotman to be just that bit more desperate, like Astrid was in the films to prove herself. -

Summary
The Lamb could cut down a heretic, could cut down a god. But they could not cut into the past, reach a hoof through the cracks and right tragedies that should have never been.
That was what stung above all, they had decided. Because, while The Lamb was devoted to solving other’s problems, saving other lives, they could not save the lives of their own.
What was one to do, when they lived forever? What was one to do, when others cannot?

Summary
After the final blow was dealt, and the dust settled to a still, Midoryia could finally breathe: laborious as it was painful. In, and out. In. Out. Staggeringly.
He had just killed a man. Hadn’t he?
The sudden silence of it all was deafening, the clamor of nothing wrecking his brain. His ears had a faint ringing to them, his vision dull. It was hard to breathe, and the sweat pooling down his cheeks (that was sweat, right?) stung when they ran into cuts.
Shigaraki—no, Shimura, and hadn’t that been a surprise—lays, finally toppled, on the ground; surrounded by the dust of the dead and the damned.
Hey, ya’ll. In light of the new manga stuff coming out about the chapters, I don’t feel like continuing this at all. This entire work just started out because I had a theory (that later became true) and that’s really the key purpose. Also to actually post something on here once so I’m not so scared of it lmao. Anyway, if you’ve read/choose to read this, thanks :)
