“Thank you,” Sua said gratefully, momentarily distracted by the mention of her relationship.
Till smiled. “You’re welcome,”
“It’s also how you and Ivan are,” Till’s smile dropped, immediately.
A few seconds pass in silence. Sua, blankly staring at Till, and Till, blankly staring at Sua.
There is a ringing in Till’s ears as, in the next second, his brain cycles through memories of the past year and all the years before that, and affirms Sua’s words.
“Fuck,” Till said eloquently.
There’s only so many times Till can be asked if he’s dating Ivan before he—well, asks himself if he’s dating Ivan.

“They should’ve at least let me kiss you back,” Till complains against Ivan’s lips, earning a soft laugh that he feels through his body.
“Mm. It could have been sadder that way, maybe,” Ivan replies, giving Till one last soft kiss awfully reminiscent of the one from the act. Subconsciously, his grip on Ivan’s arms tighten, thumbs finding their way over his wrists until he can feel a pulse.
