A weighty pause fell at the words. They’d…. Literally grown until he'd split into two bodies. It had hurt. It had been terrifying, not being able to control it, not knowing what was happening. He hadn’t meant to do it. His core had acted without their input. They had morphed, stretched, and swelled, their form growing to became two.
And now.. they were. They were one being with two bodies. Two forms with one mind. Two in one and one in two.
Or: Danny discovers duplication completely by accident and takes to it almost unsettlingly well.
