Summary
With his fake transcripts being made public, Jaune is expelled from Beacon, despite his friends' best and tireless efforts to keep him there. Heeding his partner's last advice, he then heads to Mistral and Haven, where he accidentally discovers a conspiracy about a Grimm Queen. And once Jaune knew, he resolved that no matter the cost and how weak he really was, he'd strive to keep his friends and family safe and prevent Vale's Fall altogether.
He would do anything and everything to make sure that those people he cherished remained safe... even if it meant he would never meet them ever again.
Originally a series of flashback snippets in my larger story 'The Bonds of Life'. Exported, edited, compiled, and ordered chronologically into a single standalone story for convenience.
