    Not that Punk doesn’t think Roman is attractive. He does. But it’s not that simple. Punk doesn’t really know how to untangle his feelings when it comes to Roman- or anyone, for that matter. Romance has always been tricky for him, a minefield he’s never figured out how to navigate.

    It’s a pattern he’s seen play out more times than he’d like to admit: he thinks he’s feeling something romantic, only to realize later it wasn’t. Whatever it was -infatuation, admiration, something else- it wasn’t love. It’s frustrating, maddening even, especially because it makes him question what it says about him. What he is.

    But Roman… Roman has always been different.
