    Shouto feels guilty for his selfishness. He should be grateful Izuku even allowed Iida to reach out for him, for Bakugou to catch him as the last bit of fight leaves his body, for Uraraka stopping him from leaving once more.

    That doesn’t stop Shouto’s mind from wandering, wondering if he even meant anything to Izuku any longer, wondering if Shouto was the only one left clinging to some semblance of a close connection between each other. Shouto’s heart was splintering, pieces already chipped off.

    Yet, somehow, his friends thought that the responsibility of bathing Izuku should have been Shouto’s.
