Summary
Casey Junior didn’t remember too much about his dad. Which, well, was reasonable considering she’d died when he was barely five. There were a few things he remembered, of course. His snaggle-toothed smile, her big laugh, playing with her tail. But that was about it. And every time he asked one of his uncles or his mother about her, they’d say they were busy and walk off.
He could understand that too. Grief was an absolute wrecking force. CJ could barely talk about Uncle Donnie without a tear coming to his voice cracking with emotion.Considering all of this, you would assume that CJ wouldn’t be too impacted when he saw his father’s teenage self. After all, he didn’t have too many memories of him. It shouldn’t have hurt him so much. But, well, it did. God, it hurt worse than seeing his mom. It didn’t make sense.
He did know one thing for sure, however; he got his height from Raphael’s side.

Summary
Karai came to awareness with a looming sense of dread. She felt soft carpet underneath her knees. Her nose twitched as she took in the scents of incense and tea. Soft piano music drifted in from another room.
Every sense told her that she was in someone’s home.
Karai hadn’t felt the peace of a home in over five hundred years.
In the best case scenario, this was a new dirty trick of Shredder’s. The worst…
“Hamato Karai? Can you hear me?”
She looked up in horror into the eyes of an old man, leaning heavily on a bo staff that towered so high above him, it couldn’t have been made for his use.
“What have you done?”

What if Karai was brought back before the return of the shredder? What if Splinter never had to raise four children all on his own? What if the turtles had proper training from the start?
What if it didn't change anything? What if it changed everything?
Anatawa Hitorijanai is more than just a phrase.
Edit 6/26/24: this fic and all of my rise fics are on hiatus for the forseeable future. I plan to finish it some day but my hyperfixation died :/

Summary
Somehow as his own mystics were ripping him apart, in those last moments Master Michelangelo looked at Casey with one last smile and a wink. Thinking back on it, it didn’t feel like a goodbye.
If anything, it felt like he was saying “We will see each other again, I swear.”

Or, Future!Leo appears suddenly one night after the averted Kraang invasion. From then on, it seems like he’s not the only one to come back from a dead timeline.

Summary
The plan is simple. If all else fails, Michelangelo will make a time gateway for Casey to undo what Leonardo, in his youthful arrogance, started all those years ago; it will require sacrifice, but they are ready for it.
Until the moment comes, of course.
Or, in other words - what if Future Leonardo and Michelangelo both end up in the present with Casey?
