Luffy silently shakes his head.
“This is Usopp’s battle, Cook.” Zoro says.
Usopp sucks in a deep breath and lets false bravado fill his voice. “As the sniper of the crew it’s my job to deal with other snipers and take out enemies from a distance.” He tightens his grip around Kabuto. “I won’t lose! Even when my enemy is someone as terrifying as Lady Death!”

It was as if lady luck herself was playing a cruel trick on him, because he couldn't even finish his sentence before the building shook and loose debris fell from the ceiling. Not a good sign, nor was the rumbling that shook the floor he was sitting on.or
