“Don’t,” he cuts her off, his gaze reading every minuscule emotion playing on her face like a goddamn book. His eyes are panicked. “Don’t say anything.”
She opens her mouth to speak, but nothing comes out. Every word that was in her mind is suddenly gone, a blank slate sitting in the place of her self preservation skills.
“Just for tonight. Just for one night, Donna,” he pleads with her. “Please. Don’t say anything.”

He gestures around them. “Different beach, no rain. But this was my plan,” he says, shrugging.

Summary
Lucy’s head drops back to the bed and he thinks she must’ve been up all night worrying about him if she’s still this tired.
“If you won’t go home and rest, at least get some rest here, okay? The couch folds out. I’m good,” he tells her softly.
She studies his face and then nods silently.
His eyelids have been getting heavy since the medicine hit his bloodstream and he knows he’s seconds from sleep, too.
He pulls their hands up to his chest and rests them there against the steady thumping of his heart.
His eyes close but his fingers tighten even more around hers for a second and he feels her squeeze back.
“I’m glad you’re here,” he whispers.

Summary
They fell into step beside each other as they walked up to her apartment, silence lingering between them. When they arrived Lucy gazed at him with a hesitation he knew too well. "So-", she began, trailing off when she didn't know what else to say. He buried his hands in the pockets of his jeans, leaning back on his heels slightly.
"It might take a while but eventually it will feel real", Tim told her, referring to her words as she had stared at Rosalind’s lifeless body. Lucy looked at him, a mixture of emotions flickering over her face.
"It just- seems too easy."or
Tim walks Lucy up to her apartment after they found Rosalind's body to makes sure she is okay. (5x04)
