Summary
The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.
There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
“Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

Summary
There, on marble white stairs sat a bored man. He was sitting on the very bottom of these steps, idly brushing away any rubble that dared to come close.
"Are you lonely?" A gentle voice called out from behind him.
He turned his head to see the speaker; His vision tunneling on the hand extending itself out, offering herself.
He recognized the vibrant green painted on long, finely sharp nails. Her fingers were slender, and the tiny bits of skin that showed looked smooth; Free of any markings. And there was so much green, she was basically head to toe in it.
Loki cracked a smile, "It's nice to know someone around here has taste."
He found himself laughing again after a long while, and it wasn't mocking, or bitter. He felt young, before he did the things he did, while he still had a brother.
"I am Mantis."
"Mantis..." Loki softly repeated, taking her hand into his own. "You have the pleasure of making my acquaintance, for I-" He caught himself in time before announcing his title, racking his brain on how to properly introduce himself before settling on something simple.
"Am Loki." Not as the king of Asgard, or glorious god, but Loki. Just Loki.
