She doesn’t want to. Even if she had tried, it would probably have been impossible – Zoey and Mira have positively caged her in, and she doesn’t think there's a way of escaping. She’s basically buried underneath them.
She… she likes it.
The way they don’t seem to shy away from her, the way both of them seem to seek physical contact.
She doesn’t even think that anyone ever hugged her, before she met her team.
And now, she’s here, between her first and best friends – and Zoey keeps burying her head in Rumi’s shoulder, whenever she laughs too much; and Mira’s legs are pressed against her own, and the taller girl absentmindedly grabs her hand every now and then.She thinks she might like it - being held like this.

In which the Honmoon is more than just a shield protecting the world from demons - it is a net, is a connection, it binds souls together and never lets them go again. And it has chosen. “Do you need help going to sleep?”
Rumi knew what she was referring to, even if Zoey’s tone was nothing but sweet and loving, she felt the implication underneath it all.
It wasn’t something that she liked relying on—especially not on days where they had hours on top of hours of practice and she knew both her girlfriends were exhausted—and she also felt guilty for asking, for making it seem as if she can’t fall asleep without it.
Rumi knew she couldn’t—she never slept properly without it, and to a certain level Zoey and Mira knew it too, even if they never addressed it.

“Fiyero, darling,” Galinda hums primly, giving an arch look as she emphasizes the term of endearment like a curse, “are you harassing my poor, sweet Elphie?”
“He's behaving,” she manages to muddle out, though she can't quite stop staring at Galinda’s lips, “As much as Yero ever does, anyway.”
Fiyero pulls her closer, arm around Elphaba's shoulders. He just has to be difficult. Elphaba can’t manage to bring her eyes away from Galinda’s lips to examine his expression, but she can hear the amused, shit-eating grin on his lips. “Afraid of a little competition, Galinda, darling?”

Fiyero thinks Elphie needs to relax, so like a good friend, he sets off Galinda's possessive streak to ensure she'll get thoroughly laid. Because, really, isn't that what friends are for? Meddling in their lesbian ex's relationships?

“I just wanted to say I had absolutely nothing to do with the changes. I mean honestly, when they asked for recommendations I asked if I could be alone,” Galinda starts, gesticulating as she talks, launching into something that can only generously be described as a ramble.
More bewildered than anything, Elphaba can’t do anything but watch as words tumble forth from Galinda’s mouth, as she goes on and on, probably further attempting to absolve herself of any blame.
Suddenly, Elphaba remembers that she hasn’t actually seen who her roommate is…
And she’s got a sneaking suspicion that her assignment is standing right in front of her.
(Or: stage management should be easy for Elphaba, but the actors seem to go out of their way to make it difficult— namely Galinda Upland, her new roommate, hellbent on disrupting every inch of Elphaba’s carefully-laid routine.)

Summary
This is a complete rework/reimagining of Season 7.
The story will more or less follow the same structure episode by episode. However, a lot of the content will be from 'between episodes', i.e. what happens off camera.
Timelines have been altered, certain events have been omitted or changed, some character storylines are completely different, some are largely the same.
This is purely my interpretation of how I might've liked the season to play out, rather than how it did on screen.
