When Shanks had his crew dock in a sleepy little village in the East Blue, he had intended for it to only be a short stop before venturing on to fulfil his Captain's last request. He had intended to get supplies, get drunk, and leave again, staying no longer than a day.
He had not intended on staying for a year.
He certainly had not intended on gaining a son.
Or: a selection of moments throughout Shanks' stay at Dawn Island which highlighted the unwitting bond between himself and his beloved Anchor.

Seonghwa moved upward with purpose, lingering just long enough to make the human whimper, the ice cold feeling of his mouth not different from cool night air. Hongjoong’s thighs trembled under his touch, anticipation building with every press of the vampire’s lips.
