“I…” she stops speaking and uses her hand to push some hair out of her face, when suddenly she grabs the shorter hair and seems to have an epiphany of sorts. “Me, Davrin and Lucanis were fighting the ogre… working to push it over a cliff. I think…” she does not continue.
“You think what?” He coaxes trying to solve the mystery of why she is here.
“It, the damned ogre, it grabbed me, and I fell with it.”

Summary
The first thing Lucanis and Spite agreed on was to escape and get their revenge on everyone that had a hand in the torture and experiments they were forced to go through. They would paint the world with their blood.
The second thing Lucanis and Spite agreed on was Rook. How she smelled, how she laughed, how she touched them with care. When they were near her, it was peace. She teased them both with sweet words laced in mischief, and they both realized that it is possible to want something more than revenge.
The third thing they agreed on was coffee. Because coffee is life.
