Thanks to the help of Tarja, Clive is able to aid Jill in healing what ails her. But Jill's fever stricken mind has a way of its own when words and feelings come up as he tends to her, which leaves Clive struck with confusion as to whether or not her words hold true, or if they're just a sign of her feverish state.

A night out with his roommate and best friend, Gav, turns into him meeting a silver haired beauty that has him captivated and at a loss for words.
In a comedic turn of events that leads two drunken strangers to share a night they may or may not remember, their names etched into each other's flesh to act as a reminder for their chance encounter. Will they be able to seek out one another and unveil their not so secret admirer, or will it slip from their minds entirely?

Takes place right after HOEAB, so I really hope Bryce and Hunt are endgame or this'll be awkward. :)

Warmth of weather and feeling abound as the time has come at last for Wake the Sands 2024! Final Fantasy fans from all across Valisthea have descended upon the desert jewel of Ran'dellah, eager for another convention full to brim with panels, merchandise, cosplay, concerts and more.
For the first time in her life, Jill has both found freedom from work and worked up the courage to attend, emboldened by a friendship made in online anonymity. Her daily check-ins with Stellar_Ifrit bringing out a new side of her, a Jill willing to step out of the shadows and into the crowd. A Jill unafraid to be herself.
Clive has also found himself the new attendee, his talks with Lunarshiva giving him the extra push to finally make the trip. In foolish daydream does he hope that she might be there too, despite having never heard her voice nor seen her face.
If fate is kind, fire and ice may yet find solace upon the sands.
