Summary
When lonely 10-year-old Max moves from Vermont to New York City, his life changes after a streetwise dog named Dodger steals his sandwich and Max discovers he can understand what dogs are saying. Max joins Dodger's gang of misfit dogs living on an abandoned barge, and together they must defend their home from two vicious Dobermans trying to take over the riverfront. Through clever tricks and teamwork, Max helps defeat the bullies and finds the family and belonging he'd been missing since leaving Vermont—proving that sometimes home isn't a place, but the friends who stand by you.

Summary
After winning the World Coronation series, Ash Ketchum realized that he hated the spotlight. He disappeared for five years, only allowing friends and family to see him in the forest where he made his home. During this seclusion, he still traveled, but only to remote areas, going to cities as needed.
One day, Professor Oak arrives with a letter from Blueberry Academy asking for him to start as a faculty member, focusing on training and battling. Ash realizing that he's missed battling, so he decides to go.
Once there, he learns of Paldea and decides to go for his own treasure hunt.
