Danny makes a stupid mistake one day that ends up getting him killed.
No, seriously. What kind of moron walks into a giant portal frame in their parent's basement and starts pressing buttons? He doesn't know what button he pressed in there, but the entire thing blew up with him inside it so he HAS to be dead, right? He woke up in the Ghost Zone, after all.
Danny's going to have to get used to being a ghost, because he doesn't really have a choice, does he? But some part of him wants to find a way home to see the stars again. Thankfully, he's met a ghost that's willing to help him find a way back to the real world. Danny just has to do a few favours for him first...
