Twelve days after Sasha left, a month and twelve days after they said goodbye to Marcy at the airport, twelve days after all three of them were officially hundreds of miles away from one another.
Twelve days.
And the air became poison.
OR: When the apocalypse comes, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy are hundreds of miles apart. With most of the population dead, feral animals hunting down all living creatures, and no way of contacting one another, they must fight to survive as they find their way back to each other.

Summary
A super angsty rewrite to the ending of Amphibia where Anne and Sasha are dating and try to rescue Marcy only to find that she has been possessed by the core. Before all of this went down, Marcy had a huge crush on Sasha which transferred over to Darcy. After Anne and Sashas failed rescue mission, Darcy is left with two goals: remove the heart gemstone power from Anne so she will not longer be a threat, and make Sasha her queen (no matter what).
_"Anne barely registered Darcy walking towards her with her hand behind her back, she barely registered the prick she felt in her neck and the cold liquid that was now surging through her veins. She could barely register how heavy her eyelids felt as a result of what Darcy injected her with. But she did register the last words Darcy spoke to her, they were only a whisper but felt like venom in her ears.
“Sashas ours now, you’ll never see her again. She deserves so much better than you"
Anne slowly faded out of consciousness, her mind replaying Darcy's words. Darcy was right that Sasha deserved better than her, but was wrong about the other thing. She would save Sasha from this hell.
Even if it was the last thing she'd ever do.
