Summary
Crick found himself fascinated by the Inquisitor. Temenos looked at the world with a deep intensity, as if he could see things no one else could. His carefully composed demeanour seemed to at once say a thousand words and nothing at all. Crick had on numerous occasions turned to see Temenos staring directly at him with those dark eyes of his and, when Crick had caught him, Temenos never broke eye contact or pretended to be looking in another direction. He merely smiled.

Edit: I actually finished this fic months ago, but the chapter lengths were SO disproportionate (It was like 2000-8000-8000-2000) and it really bugged me so I turned the 4 chapters into 8 more-even-and-otherwise-identical chapters! That also might have resulted in some formatting issues which I'll be editing out in time. Thank you!

Five years after their journey together, Temenos reunites with Crick once more.
