Summary
Hawke's decision to side with the Circle Mages in Kirkwall Conflict forced him to live an exile life like his father. In the course of one of his reunions with the love of his life, they discover that Isabela is expecting a baby. In the face of unexpected pregnancy, Pirate Queen resorts to raising her son on her own while his apostate father does his best to steer clear of the Templars.
Obtaining Castillon's ship as a result of her attempt to blackmail him has proven to be a greater success than Isabela could have ever expected. Hawke's earth-shattering insurrection forces all of their friends to flee Kirkwall with the help of the Pirate Queen's entourage. Every one of them promises that one day they will reunite, even if only to reminisce about the good old days. As a captain, Isabela never breaks contact with her lover, even while she bears his child during the nine months of morning sickness during which she is also captaining an entire crew. Upon learning that daddy was waiting for them in Denerim, both mommy and the boy were delighted that they would be reunited as a family again, even for a little while.
