His AI venture was taking off and he was no longer as strapped for cash as he had been a few years ago. The budget was still tight, especially when he sunk every extra cent into his Carla project, but he’d be able to squeak by. Truthfully, he should retire this part of his life– there had been some close calls. "Shall we go over the rules again? Or can you behave? After all, I thought I was the one that was meant to be naughty.” He fluttered his lashes over the top of his fan, watching as a blush spread from his client's cheeks to the tips of his ears.
“I know the rules.”
“Good,” Kaoru purred.
