Summary
Everything had gone wrong and it was all Sirius's fault. Amidst the fallout from "the prank", Sirius scrambles desperately to keep his friend safe. The Ministry is closing in, but Sirius is going to get Remus out- even if Remus hates him for the rest of his life. Doing nothing was never even an option.

Summary
Moony was a mess, whining and growling, no matter how many times wormtail ran around him to get his attention, or how many times prongs pushed him with his antlers, the werewolf was searching for his canine companion and was destroyed when he was nowhere to be found. Now restless and battered, Peter sneaked out of his bed and switched to be wormtail, evading Mrs. Norris in this form was horrifying but he managed, and soon enough he was walking around the castle.
The goal was to just tire himself out until he could get some shut eye, if you asked, he could not tell you what made him look up, but when he was walking near the bottom of the astronomy tower. He did.
