  Poison had realized that no one understood, that no one ever could. They felt themself going bad in the middle, sickly sweetness rotting away like the core of a bad apple. The girl was their last lifeline to something pure and good, once she was gone, they didn’t know if there would be anything to stop the decay of their heart.
