    'Oh.' Magnus felt his blood rushing to his ears. 'Well, that’s none of her business. You didn’t have to tell her jack if you didn’t—'

    'No, I wanted to,' Alex said, shaking her head. She pushed her hands back into her lap. 'I hope you don’t mind. The funny thing about our sex life is that… well, we don’t have one, huh? We’ve never made it past first base.'

    All of a sudden, Magnus was very aware of two things: a) the fact that Alex was right; they had never done anything more than Frenching. He hadn’t even seen Alex without a shirt. b) His pants were very tight."
