Summary
The only reason Hiccup isn't a nobody is because no matter how hard he tries he brings a string of horrible bad luck with him. He wishes he could find a way to be helpful in the village but as he feels less loved by his father and the village starts shunning him in an unspoken vow of hatred he feels the most alone he ever has. But he has something to remind him of his worth and even if they have scales and sharp teeth, he welcomes their presence with opens arms and if it means he must die to protect them. He would slit his own throat.
AKAHiccup misses that faithful shot but instead finds dragons like him more then humans so why not protect them instead, but this may be more dangerous then just living peacefully...
