Summary
Zeus was having a great day. He had few royal duties, mortals weren't demanding his attention—yet—and his children were doing whatever they could to occupy their time. Yes, a perfect day for Zeus to relax and unwind, finally ready to enjoy that nice, padded piece of furniture in his office that he almost never got to use. That is, until Hades showed up, barging into the throne room like a harbinger of death. Which he kind of was. But the thing was, Hades didn't look very happy. Not that Hades usually seemed happy, but he seemed particularly displeased when he turned on Zeus and demanded that he control his children. And which ones, specifically? The trio of terror, as the siblings Ares, Enyo, and Eris were informally known on Olympus, and Athena, because the goddess of war was also involved, much to Zeus's surprise.

Summary
Gods existed through faith; mortals dedicated prayers and devotion to them, and the more believers a god had, the stronger he was. Not to exist, but to be able to exert his influence among mortals.
This was the existence of the gods. A relationship of exchange with mortals that was not always favorable to mortals, but that worked.
Until that changed.
If before, mortals were the ones who depended on them, at least in a visible way, now the gods could feel the bitter taste of this codependency that leaned towards mortals to their detriment, but Zeus was not stupid, nor did he want to conform in silence, so he looked for a way to get around this limitation. And he finded it.Series

Summary
Greeks and Egyptians have different ways of honoring the dead. Ares thought mummifying someone was disgusting, macabre, and weird; who would want to become a dried-up corpse, after all? Horus was trying to show him the benefits of mummification and prove the Egyptians' superiority in this regard at least.

Summary
When he was little, his parents used to sing him a lullaby. As much as he protested, Ares loved it, especially when it was his father who sang it to him, since Zeus had always been a busy man. Aloof. Today, Ares sang the same song to his children, hoping that when they grew up, they would have the same good memories that he still had with himself, however few and far between they were.

Summary
Zeus knew that his youthful, radiant appearance could be both a benefit and a hindrance, the latter when it came to the older gods of other pantheons. He simply stood out among this crowd of wise old men, being treated condescendingly, as if Zeus himself had not lived for thousands of years and was no more capable of ruling than they.

Summary
With their influence expanding and surpassing that of many gods, the Greeks now dominated not only Greece, but almost the entire world, the other pantheons becoming somewhat subordinate to them, much to the general discontent. This discontent arose whenever they met, but no one was ever brave enough to insinuate that Ares might not be the son of Zeus.
After all, with his tanned skin, red hair and fierce appearance, he did not resemble the "golden Zeus" in the slightest.Series
