Summary
A young woman from the Southern Water Tribe finds herself spirited away in yet another raid upon her homeland, catching the fancy of a certain Prince whose hand offers the only chance for escape from her prison. In another place, Chief Hakoda’s corsairs retaliate furiously for the loss of their people, and in their zeal seize upon the escort vessel belonging to a noble Lady of Fire, the very woman arranged to be wed to a Fire Nation Prince.
Years later, a pair of Water Tribe siblings stumble upon a boy encased in ice who may just be their greatest hope and find their destinies inexorably changed. Meanwhile, a young untested Prince takes his sister’s blessing and departs on a quest to win the respect long denied to him. They are certain to cross paths, but for good or ill is yet unknown.
