Summary
Noel knows he is going to die one day. Except, when he walks into what he is sure would be certain death, he survives, somehow, as always, crawling to another day. Tossed to the side before he can even take a dying breath, Noel finds himself thrown from the Order of the Fallen Star back to the one place he’d sworn to never see again: the Dreamlands.
Yellow knows he is going to be King one day. But just before he could grab ahold of the power he deserves, the only power he had ever even had the chance to take for himself, Yellow wakes up in an unknown land with a dying Larson at his side— and in his own body.
Together, Noel and Yellow know that they're fucked.
Both are trapped in a land that one calls Hell, and the other home, and neither can agree on. A strange power keeps them bound together and unable to part ways, and so without a choice, they must find a path forward, even if they cannot agree upon which path that is. No matter where they head or what challenges they face, they’ll have to find out whether they will drag each other to the depths and suffocate, or if they can manage to lift each other’s heads above the water and swim to shore.

Summary
John knew that, by now, he really, really should have developed a better way to communicate direction to Arthur.
‘Left’ and ‘right’ clearly did nothing. Perhaps he should have started saying the exact opposite of where they needed to go, since that was what Arthur always did. Might be best to cut it off at the head.
John swore that he would design a better solution for them… eventually.
Being on the run from gods and monsters for months gave him much more pressing and deadly issues to think about during the long (yet still too short) nights of rest. And now that they were somewhat stagnant, living in Noel's apartment and learning how to settle, the issue didn't seem pressing. Not when Noel had the advantage of a full body, and could lay a gentle hand on Arthur's shoulder to guide him through the city.
There was very little opportunity to remember the plan, almost no need to actually set it in motion to begin with. So John kept pushing it back. It just wasn't a problem.
Until it was.

Summary
Christ, what he’d give to slip out of this week and drop into somewhere else. What he’d do to take the heaviness from his muscles, let them float with as much ease as a corpse drifting atop the roll of waves.
It’s not like he hasn’t dealt with worse, but god does he hate the monotony. The constant effort to drag his feet through mud just to reach the next trench, the next day, and start it all over again.
He sighs and turns to the kitchen, ready to drag out the pot of leftover soup from a couple nights ago and settle for a ‘quick, brainless solution for weary muscles’ kind of a meal, but the sight that meets him at the end of the turn stops him in his tracks. A tightness slashes through his heart, something sharp and hot that he can’t name as he stares forward.
There, on the countertop, a plate is laid out, freshly cooked, still warm, arranged neatly in a visible sign of another’s care, their desire to make a meal mean more than just a chore. A still-life of present energy, painstakingly painted just for him to sink into its brushstrokes.
And sitting in a loose, unassuming loop around the plate, is piano wire.

Summary
John could not stop staring at hands.
His, to be exact, and Arthur’s. The left hands.
He supposed he could call them both his hands, but that felt… wrong. Or, not entirely wrong, but mostly wrong. Much as the grooves along Arthur’s palm— kept hidden and intimate within the hold of thin fingers— felt like an old home to John, he could not bring himself to leave his signature on the deed.
Instead, over the days, his eyes kept tracing the line of fine bone across the back of the hand, following them to their ends to find the start of fine, dark splinters laced into flesh.
---
John has a body. Whose it is has yet to be determined.

Summary
"This kiss isn't like the others they've shared. It's slow and sweet and Arthur tastes of sweet peach and blood. Arthur doesn't open his mouth, and Charles doesn't ask him to, but the two of them get lost in the kiss, which rolls on slowly, in waves that almost remind Charles of the ocean, for what feels like eternity. Eventually Arthur pulls away for air, blissfully without coughing, and lays back, resting his head on Charles' lap.
"I love you." He mutters, as heavy sleep begins to drag his eyes shut. Charles doesn't respond, but he does drag his fingering through Arthur's hair, pressing a soft kiss against his forehead and Arthur falls asleep."

Summary
The door creaks gently as she walks in. It’s just as quiet as when she left for the kitchen maybe half an hour ago. She pads over to Luz’s bed and sits down on the edge of it, which creaks under her weight. Amity can feel the heat radiating from the covers, where Luz’s folded legs are touching her own. Her girlfriend's curls are sticking out at odd angles where her hand lays over her head. Her long dark lashes twitch, but her brow is relaxed. She seems much more at peace now, which makes this exceedingly difficult, but Amity places a hand on her shoulder nonetheless. She nudges her gently.
“Batata,” Luz stirs only very lightly. “Your mom made pancakes for you. Blueberry.” Luz gives an appreciative hum, voice still raspy from sleep.
“My mom made them?” There’s a tilt to her words that Amity complies to sweetly, “Maybe I helped too.”
OR: Luz has to go to school and it's hard. So Amity makes her breakfast and packs her lunch.

He remembers the sharp sting of a knife slicing through his vertebrae.Papyrus remembers all these things. Sans doesn't know. No one knows.
And he'll keep it that way.
