He usually didn't use the 'pureblood mask' anymore, especially not around his friends, it made him feel disconnected and like he was hiding something from his friends every time it covered his real emotions "You're doing it again? Remus had seen Lily's determination and smarts shine through James' idiocy and spontaneous personality. Harry had a tight-knit group of friends, much like James (although James had a fair amount of friends, he only really confided in those he was close to), that consisted of Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley
