Winter reflects on his research and life, and decides to change a few things.
This introspection happens quite a few years into his journey as a scientist, and is tangentially related to Snow in the Sanctuary. He's just talking to himself here, so I didn't see the reason for him to refer to himself via his alias (to prevent arousing suspicion in the Ice Kingdom, of course).

Summary
This is one of my final essays for English 131 at the University of Washington. The original assignment called for a short two to three page double spaced paper discussing two readings. I naturally, went above and beyond.
Structured like a lecture, and certainly featuring the length of one, I bring in the two readings, personal experience, and a lot of outside information to critically analyze the lack of linguistic worldbuilding in Wings of Fire, and the effects of its absence. I sincerely hope you all enjoy reading this, as much as I had writing it. I've split my seven thousand word essay into two chunks to make it easier on the eyes.
"I feel that that transformation could have been more nuanced and well written with more worldbuilding and especially linguistic aspects properly done. Winter’s transformation could have been more than just seeing that fighting for a ranking on a wall was meaningless. It could have been sharing bits of each other’s cultures with each other, teaching each other little words here or there."

Set Two Days After The Events Of Season 3: Part 1
Louis is suffering the consequences of his bold stunt on live T.V. With the media swarming him like vultures, spreading lies and rumors about the true intention of his actions, his life quickly starts to fall apart. Left at his lowest point, he decides to reach out to Juno, the one person he feels most comfortable exposing his true feelings to. And as Louis slowly begins to realize that he may be starting to fall in love with her, he decides to ask her out on a date as well. But when the date goes badly and danger strikes unexpectedly, Louis is faced with a reality he’s known ever since he was a fawn: he was born weak.
Juno has always been confident of her control over her carnivorous instincts, until she fell in love with Louis. Though she wants to give her love to their relationship and make him happy, she remains fearful of losing herself to her hunger. But the shadows of her past trail at her every step, lurking in the deepest crevices of her mind, sealed away, ignored. It waits for a perfect opportunity to strike at Juno’s mind and lead her on a downward spiral of destruction.
