“Well, I’m sorry to bother you. I’ll let you get back to studying.” Ben said as he turned to leave.
Ann hesitated for a second before speaking up.
“You can still come in if you want.” She said, quickly. “I mean, I know we don’t hang out much on our own but, you’re practically here every day anyways. I could use a break from studying to be honest.”
Ben shifted his weight from foot to foot and he wrung his hands for a second before replying.
“Okay, sure.” He said with a smile.
