Ace blinked. “Toy?”
Thatch nodded. “I bet you had a teddy bear to cuddle at night!”
“A what to what?” Ace was beyond confused now. He folded his arms and gave the chef a mild glare of annoyance. “I hate bears. One almost killed my little brother when we were kids - he was nearly ripped in two. We didn’t know if he’d survive the night. Why would we steal a bear? And to fucking cuddle with? Do you think we had a death wish or something?”
