He’s staring at the big sculpture on top of the fountain. If his father were here, he’d freak out about Charles working for a company with any connection with Scuderia Ferrari, let alone being in the same room as their representatives. Even though he’s not sure he would have this job if his father were alive.
Charles shrugs.
“Not as much as you.” He says in return.

He didn't know how it happened.
It was something so random- as fleeting as the ruffle of the wind in his hair as he ran down the stairs when his mother made pancakes, or as the way the scenery zipped past him when he felt his hands on the wheel of his car- but when it happened it never left his mind.
