Summary
“No, I—” Jon shifted heavily to one elbow and disentangled his other hand from the sheets, using it to grasp across the empty space between them. His eyes were wide and his voice was unusually thick. “Could you— I want—”
“Oh!”
Martin blushed at the misunderstanding. He kicked off his shoes, hurried his legs up onto the bed, and scooched over to join him under the covers.
“Right, of course. I’m here. I've got you.”

Long after they arrive Somewhere Else, Jon is laid up in bed suffering from the consequences of being dethroned as Pupil of the Eye, and gets thoroughly snuggled about it. Martin manages to say a few words about his own feelings and fears, and also gets snuggled.

Summary
"If the Institute was a nightmare, then Jon hopes Scotland is not a dream. Dreams, as he knows so well now, can be stolen. Worse, still, is that even the most wonderful of dreams is fleeting, and when they end, they’re so very rarely remembered. Those which remain in the light of day rarely hold up under scrutiny—They’re impossible, and worse, they leave a lingering bafflement. What was I thinking? Was I even thinking at all?
At the back of Jon’s skull is the doubt that he’s just one wrong move away from finally waking Martin up."

Summary
The ceiling fan in Jon’s office whirred softly as the blades spun around and around and around and around. Jon didn’t remember turning it on, but he could vaguely feel the air brushing against his skin, the papers on his desk rustling in the breeze.
He heard the sound of the clock, deep and heavy in his ears as it rattled around and filled his very being. Like his body was so heavy, so full, so very stiff and limp at the same time. He was the ticking of the clock, and the ticking was the only thing that he could really hear.

They will be happy in this place that isn't home. Somewhere Else, he still calls it in his head, like a hypothetical, even though they're living in it, even though it feels more like reality than the apocalypse ever did.
They will be happy here. As soon as Jon comes back to his own mind.
