Summary
Kytharia is Zara Renata’s favourite ritual blood bag, and will be used to power the binding of a Lucanis Dellamorte to a demon at her Tevinter estate. However, even chained, a Crow and any mage are difficult to leash, and the two manage to escape in the middle of Zara’s ritual, blood soaked and vowing to return for revenge.
Freedom is an unexpected thing for them both, and neither of them know who they are outside of the roles assigned to them- that of “prodigy mage killer” and “enslaved ritual blood bag”. Yet, as they seek revenge, even knowing anything between them would be doomed from the start Lucanis and Kytharia can’t help but be drawn to each other.

It wasn't the possession, something Harding had to point out. No, there was something more about the Crow that had stolen her attention and she wasn't quite ready to admit it to herself.
