Charlie Swan: Father of Bella Swan, now Cullen. Grandfather of Renesmee Cullen, a Vampire hybrid. Chief of Police in Forks, Washington. A Human.
Two years after the events of “Breaking Dawn”, life for Charlie has never really been quite the same. Now aware of the subtle world of Vampire’s, Werewolves and all the creatures that lie between, he is no longer surprised by what lives and lurks beneath the surface. The hardest thing to contend with, being his not quite human granddaughter. Only to find that he’s in love.
Not with a woman, mind you; but a man. A happily married man: Carlisle Cullen.
A man of his time, and having seen people lost to bigotry and disease, Charlie is at a crossroads. Grappling with his guilt towards Esme and his unflinching feelings towards Carlisle, has left him feeling confused and alone.
But like most things in the Cullen family, not everything is quite as it seems.
