Summary
The year is 1700. Grand Master Varka's expeditionary force returned to Mondstadt bearing news that devastated Mondstadt’s people: Varka had fallen, leaving the Knights of Favonius and Mondstadt itself leaderless. But in his last moments, the Grand Master entrusted the future of Mondstadt with the young and inexperienced Jean Gunnhildr, who had barely been Acting Grand Master for more than a few months.
News of Varka's death spread like wildfire across Teyvat. The Knight of Boreas was gone, leaving behind a power vacuum in his once powerful nation. The Treasure Hoarders extended their operations into Mondstadt, Fontaine wanted access to the central sea of Teyvat, even the Fatui had set their eyes on Dornman Port and Mondstadt’s northern domains. Great powers now reached towards Mondstadt with their hands to grab a share of its defenceless territory. Jean found herself at the center of it all.
But the Dandelion Knight of Mondstadt will not falter even against insurmountable odds.
