Summary
“Leave me ALONE! PLEASE!” After I heard that I stopped in my tracks to hear faint laughing coming after. And I couldn’t just leave that to deal with itself, I don’t know what this person did, but the voice was too young for it to be a grownup’s. So that means that someone has got to help, and to hell if I just ignore it. Well, this wasn’t how I was expecting my day to go. I pulled Nellie toward the direction of the distress, cause even though the boy had stopped speaking, the laughing hadn’t stopped yet, and as I was getting closer that laughter became all too familiar, and that’s when everything came into view.
The boy had his arms up in front of him, almost as if he were a police officer, asking people to stay back. He had a smaller build, and he didn’t look weak per sè, but he didn’t look like he could properly defend himself either. He had curly dark hair and even in the darkness I could see that his eyes were a pretty blue color. And they were filled with fear.
Now that I think about it, I know exactly who that boy is. He is the boy I was sat next to in my form class, the one so innocent it was a big question what he had done to piss these two off.“Charlie?”

I don’t really believe what I was saying, but I do know that it isn’t fair for Nick to have to suffer alongside me, knowing that all I’ll bring is pain and suffering. I ran off to the park, and went to sit on the swing set, and then I felt something different. It wasn’t sadness, or panic, and the next thing I knew, Nick was caught up to me. And he was singing.

Summary
I knew I was hyperventilating, and the fact that I knew my reaction to something like this was illogical. I couldn’t focus on anything, I could barely hear when Nellie barked looking at Nick and then back to me. I turned my phone off, which I knew was useless considering Nick and I knew each other’s passwords. All I could think about was not knowing what was happening and not having any control over it, and how that is how it’s supposed to be and that my reaction to this is completely stupid and uncalled for. I could feel the tears roll down my face, but I also felt something else, a thumb, running over my cheeks, wiping away the tears that just kept falling. Then I heard his voice.
Or Charlie has a panic attack because of a tv show picture, and Nick calms him down before calling him a pet name.
