After blowing up his Aunt, Harry fully expected not to make it out of the summer alive. And boy, did his Uncle try his best to prove Harry right.
Injured and hopeless, Harry set off into darkness that night, the image of Uncle Vernon with his belt in his hand still quite prevalent in Harry's mind. He prepared himself to figure everything out on his own for the next few months until term started again.
However, he was not expecting the eccentric Headmaster of Hogwarts to appear and offer to let him stay elsewhere for the summer. He jumped at the chance immediately, as anything would be better than his Aunt's house.
Until he found himself outside of Professor Snape's house.
Anything but that.
Now stuck living with his most hated Professor and arch-nemesis, Harry once again does not expect to make it to Hogwarts alive. Little did he know that fateful night would fully change the course of his life forever.
