   Summary

   Early into their marriage, Irulan goes with her husband, Emperor Paul Atreides, on a diplomatic mission to a renowned center of learning, but the visit is soon shrouded in political tension. As Paul remains distant and focused on his Fremen concubine, Irulan decides to take a stand. The situation is further complicated when the Princess meets a young poet.
