Regulus stops his walk down the hall to turn around and face her, fidgeting with the skin around his fingernails. He swipes his tongue over his bottom row of his teeth as he thinks. "Is the Black name everything you hoped it to be? Are we as noble as they say?" He asks after a moment of silence.
Adeline let out a breath, listening to the question replay in her head over and over before she responded. "I've barely been given a chance to truly find out."
The two stood a several feet away from each other for a few seconds in silence. Both mysteries to each other, both intriguing in ways neither could explain.
