Kushina, who had been watching their exchange in confusion with a question on her lips, watches in amazement as Itachi, a young, incredibly intelligent pacifist - if his conversation with Minato was anything to go by - walks over to Danzo and kicks him sharply in the shins.
The Elder - who, despite his experience and ninja prowess, is caught off-guard - falls back into his chair. His cane clatters to the ground loudly.
The room goes silent for a moment. Minato looks at Itachi in shock and Kushina in poorly hidden approval. Orochimaru watches interestedly, amused by the turn of events.
Hiruzen just stares, uncomprehending. His hand twitches towards his pipe.
[Or, Hiruzen chooses his successor while drunk. Or rather, successors. Five, to be exact.]

Summary
Batman's PR is at an all-time low due to a sudden onslaught of negative posts centred around him. People are clamouring for his removal from the Justice League. Batman doesn't care about the comments but Gotham is indignant on their knight's behalf. The JL comes to his defence and speaks on his behalf with their whole chest. The internet decided that Batman must have bewitched the JL and cancel him even more. Batman still does not care.
An unknown someone posts three photos of Batman. They are the first clear photos of the vigilante that the world has ever seen. Suddenly, public opinion has been reversed and the only word on everyone's collective mind is: DADDY

Summary
Things I don't see in DC yet - Dick Grayson time travelling, deciding to join Talon just so he can fuck them up from the inside and then forcibly joins Bruce at 12. Bruce has no idea what to do with a murderous assassin kid who has more of his shit put together than he does. Also, not Dick vicariously adopting all of the Robins and Bruce faced with three smaller children sitting at his table every night looking at him accusingly.
