Summary
He leaned on the fridge with his arms folded over his chest and watched Laios chop the onions and garlic and dump them into the pan. He increased the heat ever-so-slightly, stirred the contents of the pan, and nodded to himself. He then proceeded to chop the ham into tiny square pieces and waited a moment before dumping it into the pan as well. Another stir, another nod, all while wearing a serious, focused expression. Kabru giggled, putting his hands over his mouth. “Oh, I do love watching you cook. You look really handsome when you're focused on a task, you know.”
Immediately flushing up to his ears, Laios whined in protest, shaking his head. “Wah, Kabruuuu... Don't tell me stuff like that when I'm cooking,” he muttered, putting his hands up to his cheeks as he looked away. “It's really distracting,” he added emphatically, pouting. Kabru laughed.
“Haha! I'm sorry, darling. I didn't mean to be distracting. I will let you do your work in peace,” he said, putting his index finger up to his lips as he sent Laios a wink.
