Cosima Durant considered herself a pretty normal individual. Average trauma, an average job at the local library. Liable to die alone, corpse eaten by her cat.
But then she wakes up in a nightmare shaped just a little like her favorite video game franchise. And sure, she loves fantasy! And she loves playing RPGS in that setting! But she doesn't actually know how to fight, and she's pretty sure she's gonna die but...
The people there asked for her help (after trying to kill her) and how can she say no? Especially when she realizes the video game and the actual world are very, very different animals. And there may be more magic than even the mages of Thedas had counted on interfereing with the threads of fate.
